Introduction to BWs latest recruit

Hi my name is Angela, I am on secondment from BT for 6 months and really enjoying myself! I am learning lots about the canal navigation and the varied and interesting roles that BW people do. Half term week I had the opportunity to meet a couple of the Working Boats Volunteers at Hatton Locks whilst helping to promote volunteering on the Education team. I am hoping to stay a further 6 months and look forward to seeing how the organisation evolves as it moves closer to becoming a charity
