Five go volunteering in Bath

New WOW volunteers for the Kennet & Avon Canal

A small but enthusiastic band of WOW volunteers met together for the first time in Bath close to the Kennet and Avon Canal in July to find out more about volunteering for WOW. Claire, Jan, Joy, Sue (not pictured) and Vicky bring a range of wealth and experience to the project including teaching, marketing, plant knowledge, guided walk leading and even selling an ice cream to Julia Bradbury!

After further training they will be more than ready to lead sessions about the canal for schools, cubs and brownies both in the classroom and out and about on the towpath.
